Sicherheitslücke in WordPress – Upgrade auf 1.5.1.3

Das hier hab ich gerade eben in meinem Dashboard von WordPress gelesen:

…but an important security issue was brought to our attention which required an update for our users. The problem is not yet public but you should update your blog as soon as possible to 1.5.1.3. If you are unable to do upgrade in the short-term you may protect yourself by deleting the xmlrpc.php file from your WordPress directory.

Upgrade 1.5.1.2 to 1.5.1.3
This is a security upgrade. Information may be found at Changelog/1.5.1.3.

It is NOT necessary to run install.php or upgrade.php as no changes are made to the database. As with all WordPress upgrades, the contents of your wp-content folder should remain intact and unchanged.

1. Delete /wp-admin/ folder.
2. Delete /wp-includes/ folder
3. Delete all the wordpress files in the root directory where the root index.php file is found. DO NOT DELETE wp-config.php.
4. Download and extract the new version.
5. Upload it to the appropriate folders such as /wp-admin/ and /wp-includes/.
6. Upload all the files in the root directory.
